How much does a Windows VPS cost?
A Windows VPS always costs a little more than a Linux VPS, because the Windows Server licence has to be paid for. With us it is included in the displayed price: the first configuration starts at €2.99 excl. VAT per month, with no setup fee, no commitment and no extra charge for the licence or for Remote Desktop access.
That entry price gets you 2 vCPU and 2 GB of RAM, suited to a bot or a light script. Windows Server alone takes 1.5 to 2 GB, so move up to 4 GB (€5.99) as soon as you work over Remote Desktop or run a small business tool. Beyond that, plan on 8 GB of RAM to work comfortably with several applications open, and 16 GB if you run a SQL Server database alongside your application.
All our Windows plans run on NVMe storage, not SATA disks or older-generation SSDs: on Windows, which writes to disk constantly, the difference shows at boot and whenever you open an application.

Windows Server 2019 or 2022: which one to choose?
Windows Server 2022 is the default choice: it is the most recent version we offer, with the longest support window and the latest security improvements, notably for TLS and encrypted communications. Take it if you are starting from scratch.
Windows Server 2019 remains useful when a business application, a driver or an older .NET application has not been validated on 2022. If in doubt, check the compatibility stated by your software vendor before ordering.
Consumer editions such as Windows 10 or Windows 11 cannot be rented out: Microsoft's licensing terms do not allow a hosting provider to offer them. A Windows VPS is therefore always a Server edition, with the same graphical interface and the same Remote Desktop. Our article Windows 10 or 11 on a VPS? explains why in detail.

Comparison
Windows VPS or Linux VPS?
Choose Windows if you need software that only exists on Windows, a graphical Remote Desktop, Active Directory, IIS or SQL Server. That is the only real criterion.
For everything else — a website, an API, Docker, a game server, a bot in Node.js or Python — a Linux NVMe VPS costs less and uses less memory for the same work, since it has no graphical interface to run.

A Windows VPS is a private virtual server running Windows Server 2019 or 2022. It includes full Remote Desktop (RDP) access. Ideal for trading, bots, .NET/IIS applications, PowerShell scripts and any workload needing a native Windows environment.
Is the Windows Server licence included in the price?
Yes, the Windows Server licence is fully included in every plan. There are no additional licence fees to pay. The licence is activated automatically on deployment.
How do I connect to my Windows VPS?
You receive your credentials (IP, username, password) by email as soon as the server is deployed. Connect using the Remote Desktop (mstsc) app on Windows, or Microsoft Remote Desktop on Mac and Linux. The connection is immediate.
Can I install additional software?
Yes, you get full administrator access to your Windows VPS. You can install any Windows Server-compatible software: IIS, SQL Server, MetaTrader, XAMPP, Node.js and more.
Are there any installation fees?
No. All our Windows VPS plans are deployed without any installation costs. You only pay your monthly subscription. No commitment, no hidden fees.
Can I switch from one plan to another?

How much RAM do I need for a Windows VPS?

Can I run MetaTrader or a trading bot?
Yes. It is a common use of a Windows VPS: the machine stays on permanently with a stable network connection, and you connect over Remote Desktop whenever you need to. A 4 GB configuration handles a few terminals, 8 GB if you open many.
Can I get Windows 10 or Windows 11 on a VPS?
